If you know
Why am I dry today?
Some days are an endless verdant Spring
Color and scent
Rain and sun
And I am a tree
Green and so alive
Deep roots
Branches reaching skyward
But today
I am desert
I search for the message
That body, mind and spirit have for me
And I can find none
In the end
I have come to know
Some days are like that
And so I sit
This dryness is mine
And like all things
It will pass in its time
Tonight the moon is still mine
And in the morning the sun
Maybe then I'll have the answer
Maybe not
It's all good
Being is enough
