My voice, not silenced
My soul, still bright
Eyes, clear now
For the first time
In so very long

The shadows without
Nor the darkness within
It is a part of me
Alongside the light
Yin and yang
Strength, vision, purpose

Yes, I say yes
To life
Following my passion
