Uncomfortable

I'm putting the universe on notice
Today
Anything can happen
I will be myself
Walk my path
If you're in my life and you can handle that, good.
If you can't, I'll do it without you
And yes, I do mean it and understand the ramifications of that statement

They are going out into the world
Maybe no one will see them
Or perhaps a million will
I will not allow myself to continue to be raped by indifference
I will not continue to numb myself
I'm uncomfortable
I NEED to be uncomfortable
I need to look at
Where I'm at
What I feel
Who I am
Straight on
In the mirror
If this scares you
Or makes you uncomfortable
Then look away
But I'm not going to
