Unfamiliar
This comfortable feeling
To find I’m OK
Not because I’m hiding
But because I really am
OK
I know what’s behind me
Not sure what comes next
But I’m not afraid of it
Not anymore
Sure of who I am
What I want and need
Future can’t be predicted
But I do know
What is on my heart
And what is in my soul
Every day
Grateful for the day’s walk
And for those I walk with
